It’s also home to the Dog Chapel, which was built by folk artist Stephen Huneck and his wife, Gwen, and the motto reads: “Welcome all creeds, all breeds. No dogmas allowed.” The chapel’s walls are covered in handwritten notes and photographs of dogs that have since passed on—a testament to how beloved man’s best friend is, even long after they pass.
